HPE OpsRamp

Overview

HPE OpsRamp sends logs, metrics, and traces to an HPE OpsRamp (IT operations / observability) environment using the OpenTelemetry Protocol (OTLP). The Praxis destination is a catalog entry in the observability group; the runtime uses the same OpenTelemetry OTLP exporter as the generic OTLP destination.

Supported types: Logs · Metrics · Traces

Configuration

All parameters are the same as the OTLP destination: protocol (gRPC or HTTP), endpoints, TLS (including mutual TLS if your deployment requires it), custom headers, queues, retries, and authentication. See the complete field reference in OTLP destination.

Notes for HPE OpsRamp

  • The OTLP base URL, port, and path are defined by your OpsRamp or gateway deployment. Obtain the gRPC/HTTP endpoint and any required headers or certificates from your HPE or operations team.
  • If your environment uses a managed gateway in front of OTLP, configure TLS and authority (gRPC) or the correct https base URL (HTTP) to match that gateway’s requirements.

External documentation

  • Use your HPE OpsRamp and OpenTelemetry integration documentation for the OTLP endpoint and security model that apply to your tenant.
