Enhancements​

Upstream OpenTelemetry Collector updated to v0.160.0​

The collector now builds on OpenTelemetry Collector v0.160.0, picking up upstream fixes and component updates from the v0.160.0 core and contrib releases.

  • Core collector modules move from v0.159.0 to v0.160.0 (stable modules v1.65.0 to v1.66.0), and contrib components from v0.159.0 to v0.160.0.
  • The bundled Prometheus libraries move to v0.314.0, the version upstream contrib is built against.
  • HTTP client and server settings now accept upstream's new keepalive section as an alternative to the flat idle_conn_timeout, max_idle_conns, max_idle_conns_per_host and disable_keep_alives keys. The flat keys keep working; setting both forms at once is now rejected at startup.
  • No configuration changes are required.
